Northside Book Girls Reading Retreat 2027

Northside Book Girls invites you to join us for our very first Reading Retreat — a cosy weekend filled with books, beautiful surroundings, fun activities, good food, and plenty of time to connect with like-minded women who share your love of reading.

From Friday 21st to Sunday 23rd May 2027, we’ll be heading to the stunning Sunshine Coast Hinterland for a weekend of slowing down, switching off and getting lost in a good book.

Whether you’re a romance addict, a thriller lover, a fantasy girlie or someone who simply loves the feeling of having a book in your hands, this weekend is for you.

Your retreat ticket includes:

• 2 night stay at an Airbnb located in either Maleny or Montville**

• Dinner cooked for both nights (not including breakfast & lunches)

• Snacks, tea, coffee, drinks supplied for all weekend

• A surprise book based on your preferred likes

• Goodie bag

• Book club trivia, activities, arts/crafts etc all weekend

• & many more surprises in store x

**Sleeping Arrangements: Accommodation will be shared, and some beds may need to be shared between guests. Sleeping arrangements will be discussed and agreed upon prior to the retreat, with preferences taken into consideration wherever possible.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

We understand that plans can change, so we’ve put together the following cancellation policy to ensure we can fairly manage accommodation, catering and other retreat expenses.

Booking Deposit
A non-refundable 25% deposit is required to secure your place at the Northside Book Girls Reading Retreat. Your booking is not confirmed until the deposit has been received.

More than 60 days before the retreat
Cancellations made more than 60 days prior to the retreat may be eligible for a refund of payments made, less the non-refundable deposit and any costs already incurred on your behalf.

30–59 days before the retreat
Cancellations made 30–59 days prior to the retreat will be eligible for a 50% refund of the total amount paid, less the non-refundable deposit and any non-recoverable costs.

Less than 30 days before the retreat
Unfortunately, cancellations made within 30 days of the retreat are non-refundable, as accommodation, catering, activities and other retreat expenses will have already been committed.

Transferring Your Spot

If you can no longer attend, you are welcome to transfer your place to another person, provided that:

• The replacement attendee meets the retreat requirements.

• Northside Book Girls is notified of the change before the retreat.

• The replacement attendee agrees to all retreat terms and conditions.

• Any outstanding balance is paid before the retreat.

Transfers are subject to approval and are not guaranteed.

If Northside Book Girls Cancels

In the unlikely event that Northside Book Girls needs to cancel the retreat, attendees will receive a full refund of payments made toward their retreat booking. Northside Book Girls will not be responsible for any additional expenses incurred by attendees, such as travel or other personal costs.
