Northside Social Co began with a simple idea — that events should feel personal, meaningful, and thoughtfully crafted. What started as organising book club gatherings and community meet-ups quickly grew into a passion for creating experiences that bring people together in real, memorable ways.
Founded in North Brisbane by Makala Roberson, Northside Social Co blends creativity with organisation, heart with structure, and community with professionalism. With a background in logistics, vendor management, and literary event design, Makala saw a gap in the market for events that weren’t just “put together,” but truly curated.
Today, Northside Social Co specialises in retreats, workshops, social gatherings, and community-focused events across South East Queensland. Every event is built with intention — clear communication, seamless planning, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
